We really need to start seeing buildings as being important for delivering healthcare as the flashy scanners etc that we put in them. They’re not places for saving money, and maintenance is essential not some boring thing that can be ignored.

It was quite a large room, but with only one window ajar & 15 medics doing handover, I checked the CO2.

I met a nice lady (ward patient) yesterday who, seeing my respirator, promptly put on her surgical mask
So instead of diving straight in to asking what was most concerning her & how I could help, I opened up a bit about infection control in hospitals
All the talk over the last few days about how the scandal of the post office was out in the open for years but mainly ignored by politicians and media has similarities with covid in schools
