Spider-Man 2099 is supposed to be like Batman Beyond where it's set 100 years from now, whenever now is, and he was created in '99, but the name stuck and became a brand for the whole time period

Canary adds some diversity and they pair well with characters like Batman and Green Lantern, as well as each other. it'll be some time before Flash and Aquaman are rebooted

the villains would be the Crime Syndicate. the team would only be Ultraman (Henry Cavill), Owlman and Superwoman (Amy Adams)
Ultraman would be the de facto leader, but it would be evident that Owlman is the true mastermind pulling the strings
