Traveled from Dallas to NY to do my Cellar audition, and I got passed! Part of me still thinks it’s not real. But I finally did my paid spots at Comedy Cellar. I hope I can be an inspiration for my fellow comics in Dallas that dreams are possible.

I got to open for Leanne Morgan at the Majestic Theater, Cullen Performance Hall, and Choctaw Grand Theater within one weekend! I was so excited after the first show, I couldn’t fall asleep. Even looking at the photos on my phone feels surreal to me!

I showed up at an air force base wearing suit and tie, and got offered a job as a sushi chef. The only condition is that I must speak English with a Japanese accent.
I’ll never forget my first ever job interview when I was 16. It was at Walmart and I wore a tie and a fedora to impress the interviewer. I promptly got the job of pushing carts for 7.25/hr. So you know what they say-dress for the job you’re too mentally incapable of doing!
