I really wished people understood that wildlife conservation’s largest supporters and funders are hunters and anglers. There would be zero wildlife left without the management regulations pushed for by and the funding of,hunters and anglers. You can hate it but it’s the truth.

Unfortunately, I have once again a tear in one of my retinas. Waiting for a call for laser surgery to close it. My optometrist and ophthalmologist have already saved my vision once,now hopefully they will be successful again. It’s very frustrating but it’s out of my hands.

I didn’t grow up in a house with a porch. Two of the houses we built up north though did have them. Places to sit in quiet,talk with family,visit with the neighbors,or watch it rain. Porches are a wonderful place.

Today someone I’ve followed for years but never met did one of the kindest things for me. She took a name and a cemetery location and located at least a dozen of my ancestors. Most I knew nothing about. Thank you, Mary Jo!

There were two large and heavy statues in the pile. They had been the old couples and I guess she couldn’t take them with her. They ended up being from the Frank Loyd Wright collection. We have them now in our back garden as a reminder of the kind professor and his lovely wife.
