and I really hope writers know that, perhaps despite appearances, so many agents will want to read your stories comps or no comps, and would hate the thought of authors agonising over them when comps aren't easy to find
When I was writing agent submission letters, it was v difficult to think of comp. books for a novel about Ugandan Asians.
I know it's disheartening when even the comparisons for your story don't seem to be out there, but keep going. We truly want to read your stories.
