Update: We had to evacuate from our apartments yesterday. Though there were boats, we did not get space and did not want to wait. Preeti, Mudra & I walked in chest-level water to reach the main road. Thankfully, the car worked & are now in a hotel in the city.

There were 5 of us when the 10 p.m. show of Killers of the Flower Moon started. Two left 60 minutes into the show, and two more at the 90-minute mark. I now have the pleasure of watching the movie alone in the theatre. I’ve always wanted to do this! 😅

Last few days in Chennai before I move to Bengaluru. I came here in Jan 2017 & have stayed here for 4+ years (excluding the Covid years). This city will forever remain special. Many discouraged me when I was moving here for the first time. I am glad I didn’t pay heed to them.

Amma at the age of 60 has found her community. 6 months back she joined a small group of women in the society who do Yoga from 7-8 AM every day. It is heartening to see her commitment to do it irrespective of constraints. The community also supported her after Appa’s demise. ❤️✨
