There are some Authors that once you read their books, there's no going back until you've read all or most of their works. Examples for me are Sidney Sheldon and Francine Rivers. Which Author has such hold on you?

This year I decided to read more of African books and although it's trauma upon misogyny on one part, the African stories being told, the beauty of the culture, the languages and the people and the rich history has me glued. Which is the best African novel you have read so far?

@salsoye Yes it's very good. Baba segi was so traditional and he prided himself on being a man, being able to marry so many wives and build a large family. Only to find out he is wayyy less of a man, in the most brutal way.

Little gestures from people like good wishes, the act of sharing, giving encouragements and love is really what humanity is about. These things are so basic yet so difficult to come by. It's why you should cherish those who remember to check on you.
