we just made a commitment to spend $200k on X ads in 2024 and they're giving us $100k in free ad credits because of it. SHOUTOUT to the X ads team for this huge incentive.
Excited to do our small part in supporting free speech with no limits.

most people at micro1 work past 12am regularly. it’s almost the norm. there’s no such thing as “work like balance” and we make that very clear during our 1st call with any potential candidate joining us.
when everyone was pulling out of advertising with X, we jumped in (less competition for clicks).
we now spend $30k/month on here and 90% of our leads are from from here.
some strategies that work well for us:
1.) informal ads (sometimes memes)
2.) non-salesy copy
3.)
we made a 'letter' landing page that is just text & it increased our conversions by 2x. sometimes, you have to just try weird, new things.
this is now our best performing landing page 🤣
micro1 is re-defining the way software is built. We’re creating the new era of software development, seamlessly integrating humans and AI to quickly & precisely build beautiful software.
Eventually, you will be able to outline the scope of work for your MVP and receive the build

we recently helped one of the largest AI companies in Silicon Valley hire 250 engineers in just 30 days to train next generation models.
This was hard (and a lot of fun).
See details here:
and we're liveee!
Companies can now describe their ideal engineer in natural language, get deeply vetted profiles within 5 seconds, and interview the ones they're interested in.
The deeply vetted profiles will show an Al summary
that is customized based on their requirement
We achieved $416k in gross revenue in October with ~40% gross margins.
The gross margins are the combination of our Talent business (micro1 talent), Agency (microLab), and a bit of SaaS revenue (gpt-vetting).
It was an incredible month with lots of tough moments and many more

organically for any combination of 'technical vetting tool' phrases. we didn't do any SEO, we just built a sick product & a nice landing page for it.
the idea of “balance” when working on or at a startup is absurd. do the best athletes in the world “balance” their life early on? do world-class programmers balance their coding with many other endeavors? bull shit. all in or nothing, at least in my 20s.
dummy data in staging link for now but this is being shipped in 2 days. super excited. describe your ideal engineer, interview once, and hire within 24h.
micro1's March update: we're now at a $7M/year run rate (up 20% from last month).
1.) 20% revenue growth MoM & only 6% growth in expenses
2.) 6 figure net income in Feb
3.) Profitable for last 8 months (except December)
4.) Only added 1 new person to the core team
5.)
micro1’s long term vision:
micro1 is a company that begins in lower case, but aspires to big solutions. We are fundamentally redefining how companies hire world-class software engineers and, ultimately, how those companies build software. Efficiently integrating humans with AI,
shipped 10 mins ago: gpt-vetting now has coding exercises built in. accuracy, run time, and overall code quality assessed by gpt-4. accurately pre-screening engineering talent has never been easier.

hey there,
You tired of the never ending search for world-class software engineers? I get it, It takes 20h+ to source the right profiles, and then 3-4 interviews with 30+ candidates to find the super star you’re looking for. At micro1, we just raised a $3.3M pre-seed to solve
1 month recap of

I recommend this to any founder, it's so fun.
work 14h/day, gym 1.5h, repeat. i love this shit.
people that like to call this 'hustle porn', name one founder that has built a $100B company by keeping 'work-life' balance.
For someone like my dad, where english is not his native language, simple information retrieval / Googling can become quite difficult.
