[1/3]I totally get why some people are sad about no update; it's fun with new stuff!
However, the way game deving works is actually more frequent updates=less new content. Why? More updates=more time spent testing to make sure nothing breaks when we update.

[3/3] An April 1 update would've been a ton of fun, but there happened to be extra big risks with updating without properly testing this time. I think we made the right call, but it's fine if you disagree. Either way I think you'll love the update we spent this time working on 😁

[2/3]We have to test every update cus we need to make sure we've not broken something else, like everyone's plots (😬). Instead we've decided to focus as much of our efforts as possible on adding cool new things and improving old stuff.

I coincidentally had a conversation about this with one of the 3D artists a while ago and it's apparently a weirdly difficult thing to do from a technical standpoint in Roblox. I agree that it would be awesome though.

I was very happy to hear Gamefam employees were unionizing! There's a big push right now for unionisation (esp in the US) largely thanks to WGA & SAG-AFTRA doing so well.
I've myself been a union member since I started my career. Working conditions at CS are luckily great 😄

I believe you have to be in the server already at a certain time for the event to trigger that night, so you might need to wait more than 24 hours of in-game time.

The old one is definitely iconic. Honestly, all the old dances were quite good. I tried to stay as true to the original as I could when I remade them so they wouldn't feel different, just smoother and more in line with the other new emotes and dances.

I think it looks great! Apart from the hand thing (rigs can be v annoying) one thing that you could try is to have the limbs on one side rotated more differently so it doesn't look like it's mirrored. I saw you did this on your YouTube tho so you're on the right track 😁

One thing I tried to build once (but realized I wasn't skilled enough to do as well as I wanted) is a sort of futuristic build inspired by those tunnels hamsters have and they would take you between different gravity defying, futuristic buildings high up in the air.

That's sort of where it started and then it evolved into that build. But I'm thinking more like separated buildings connected by thin bridges/corridors rather than cubes stacked randomly on to each other.

Code isn't used to animate something like this. Instead you create "keyframes" in a program like Blender or Maya or directly in Roblox Studio. A keyframe is basically a saved pose. Each mouse animation will have thousands 😁It took about 3-4 weeks to animate.
