A large focal point of our most recent campaign directly addressed the impacts of redlining and the direction necessary to eliminate these conditions. Note to add. Primarily in these communities are black people that have had no opportunity to build wealth.
In Cleveland, people who live in historically redlined areas today deal with problems created by the nearly century-old racist practice, including having a higher prevalence of coronary heart disease, stroke, or chronic kidney disease.

As Senator of Ohio I will pass a lineage based reparations plan that includes cash restitution. The federal government sanctioned the egregious institution and has never provided repair.
