Pretty cool to see to of our former SF players Malik and Kobi playing against each other in the league. Great young men. All time SF greats. Proud coach.
Great day for Jusaun Holt and his family on his signing to play for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Jusaun has worked very hard and has bright future. Bama is getting a good one. Proud of him.
I want to thank our coaching staff. Very fortunate to have Coach McCard and Coach Armstrong to work with day in and day out. Outstanding coaches, they do great job working with a our players and mentoring our players. Appreciate you guys!
State Champs. 76-55 win over Greenforest. So proud of our players and so excited for them. They worked so hard this year. Glad our seniors went out with a state title. Special group. Privileged to be their coach.

Really proud of our team winning the state title. So excited for our players, managers, and assistant coaches. They worked so hard all year. Appreciate the effort and dedication to our program. I can’t wait to present each one with a state championship ring.
Junior Dwon Odom passes a few more career milestones. He has 1,583 points, 500 rebounds, 610 assists, and 195 steals. His best stat, the team’s record is 73-14 (84%). Winner.

Congrats to Dwon Odom on being named to the Naismith National High School All American Team as an Honorable Mention selection. Being named one of the top 45 players in the country is a great accomplishment.
As a coach I can’t say enough about Chase Ellis and Jordan Brown fighting through injuries to be on the floor for their teammates. Sacrifice, commitment and mental toughness. Chase was on crutches Tuesday. So proud of those guys.
Congrats to senior Chase Ellis for scoring over 1,500 career points. Currently at 1,502. Chase also has 850 career rebounds and needs 18 to become schools all time leader, passing SF all time great Kaiser Gates (867).

Senior Dwon Odom with 24 steals this season has become the schools all time leader. He is up to 239 for his career surpassing Kobi Simmons 225. Congrats Dwon.
Great game last for senior Chase Ellis. 15pts/7rb/4ast. Very under appreciated player by most, but very appreciated by his coaches and teammates. Kid has over 1300 points and over 700 rebounds for his career. Comes to work everyday. Go to battle with him any day.

In GA high school basketball we need to bring back the tradition of cutting down the nets after winning a championship. It would be a memorable experience for the student athletes and having a piece of the net to keep for a lifetime.
Congrats to 3 of our St. Francis players on their invite to participate in the McDonald’s AA Top 150 camp this weekend in Texas. Great opportunity for Jusaun Holt 2021, Seth Hubbard 2022, and Keith Robbins 2022. Excited for them.

Tough day for the Knights in loss to Holy Innocents in state semi finals. Didn’t have our best. Congrats to HI they played well.

Come to St. Francis, our gyms are open all the time for kids to work on their game and get better. Players from other schools work out even, its all about helping all kids and giving them an opportunity. If you have a dream and goal go work for it.

As our Lady Knights prepare to play in the State Finals I want to shout out Coach Kennedy. Besides the 11 straight Region Championships and 3 state, she has produced Multiple Honor roll students, Very respectful young ladies, Multiple D-1 players, and “mom”to many other athletes.
