Woohoo!!! I’ve just had my latest brain scan results and the gamma knife treatment has worked!! 🎉🎉
There’s some scar tissue left as expected, but the regrowth’s been killed off and the consultant’s really pleased! Phew! 😊

Her daughter said they are doing OK. They miss their mum loads but are trying to have a nice Christmas for her. She wouldn't want them to be sad ❤️

- they said surgery again next year is possible. “It means I may have longer than a year to survive. We start planning next month to zap the 10% remaining. I can pray now and hoping to stay alive longer than a year. My family and me so happy!” 💙

Chris is fighting an infection and must rest. If well enough she’ll start Chemo in 2 weeks.

Hi All 👋 I am still crap..this! Crapy tough, plus through and surgery. It's tough, and I am think to exhausted crap, especially as only intense. Recover now could, I can go home today. Start Chemotherapy in 2 weeks. Just need to rest now too! Thankyou

I now realise I’d dismissed my 2nd brain tumour as trivial when it was actually a huge deal for me.
My approach of being positive and dismissing it left me feeling drained.
Realising thus should now help me recover more quickly ☺️

update: Chris has asked me to say she remains in hospital being treated for her infection. Not sure on next steps wrt whether to start chemo, but she’s keeping positive and in good spirits. And she urges everyone to follow me! 😘
Hiya ❤ Not been well. Rushed into hospital on Thurs. Infection, pain & leaking fluid. Rushed into Tumour survey. Been in terrible pain. Infection inside, opened up, drainage & removed Infection and some skin. Main brain okay but swollen. Thank goodness. Draining the excess xx
