I'm convinced that Wes Moore was created in a lab for politicians:
- Rhodes Scholar
- College football player
- Afghanistan veteran (Army officer in the 82nd Airborne Division)
- Investment banker
- CEO of Paul Tudor Jones' Robin Hood Foundation
- Understands retail politics
@McKay4Senate
Probably surprisingly busy since Sweden is the de facto representative for the interests of a bunch of countries in North Korea, including the U.S.
Can you imagine the ego boost that that sixth grade football coach got knowing that THREE (well known) NFL coaches couldn't figure out how to stop his old school offense? 😅
lmao I never heard this before
during his bountygate suspension, Sean Payton coached a 6th grade football team, spygated the one team that beat them during the season, took the film to Bill Parcells to devise a strategy to beat them… but still lost to them in the finals 😂😂
@gavinbena
Biden emphasizing populist themes like buying American and bringing manufacturing jobs home plays well with former Democrats who voted for Trump, such as Donald Trump
@pushtheneedle
Sorry, i'm as YIMBY and pro-housing as they come (and agree with most of these points), but a twelve unit building with no fire sprinklers should not be legal.
@darlingube
??? This is literally the candy that comes with some of the military's MREs. This is the same stuff that U.S. soldiers get. You all have a conspiracy theory for everything
@LinkofSunshine
His face said it all in that speech, he was like "i get nothing when i mention tax cuts, but a standing ovation for this? Most of you didn't even know what trans meant five years ago"
@ninaturner
I mean, I'm a millennial and I don't either. Too many good job openings and desperate employers to waste time on the ones who aren't bending over backwards to attract you, and showing you a position's pay makes it a more efficient market for everyone.
@StatisticUrban
That is true. Also underrated how there would be quite a few Obama-Trump voters who would flip right back to Obama if they had the chance
@SpaceSandT
@BFriedmanDC
@elonmusk
Yes, wearing a cowboy hat backwards is not cool. It's not the same as a baseball cap. Get off of your knees. It's weird.
@brett_girth
@JustinWolfers
Made-up prices aside, why would you choose eggs of all things, a commodity that just went through a supply glut-driven price crash, as your example here?
@realTomPappert
@MillerStream
A bible verse in the bio while making fun of the hairline of someone who had brain surgery on that part of her head. You seem like a high quality person.
@thechosenberg
I'm not even a vegetarian, but I agree with her. A good black bean burger has its place as a distinct alternative to a meat burger, not necessarily as a substitute for it (like the impossible meat aims to do)
@saint_morg
Are people not embarrassed to order stuff like that? I would feel so cringey trying to order something off the menu so confidently and expecting an employee to just understand it. Sorry that you have to deal with that
@StatisticUrban
Agreed. Full of annoying suburbanites who think that they're "country" and drive big shiny clean pickup trucks to their white collar jobs
@ZeroSuitCamus
The replies are insane too lol people just casually claiming that humans used to live for hundreds of years. Funny how that stopped happening right around the time that written language and recordkeeping became a thing 🤔
@REHPICTrader
@realDailyWire
$7 for a chocolate bar that won't ship until late April. Do you know anything about business? Or are you just obsessed at the desire to virtue signal?
@nataliegwinters
Wow, you're telling me that scientific research done at the University of North Carolina got funding from the National Science Foundation? That's fascinating, Natalie! I know this required a lot of exertion for that little mind of yours, so I am proud of you for doing your best!
@kareem_carr
Yeah he keeps trying to play it off as though "oh this was all a long time ago, I'm different now" but then there's very recent stuff like this
thinking about the fact that when I saw Hank Jr last week he was like “if you don’t like Hank, waylon, or uncle Kracker we don’t give a damn” like 😭 Waylon and Uncle Kracker in the same sentence lol
@DrewSav
Drew, I was removed by force from the voting area for following your instructions. This practice appears to be frowned upon in open-air setups with only cardboard dividers.
@Calebej37
Hard to pin down what his actual politics are, but i feel like you would appreciate his political role models (Glendening was a moderate former Dem governor of Maryland)
This is awful. For those who aren't familiar, this is a major bridge -- the "third longest span of any continuous truss in the world", with four lanes of I-695 traffic.
It leads into one of the busiest ports in the country, which is now probably blocked off from shipping traffic
@PierreDelect
@mindyisser
If more policing on public transit makes it a safer and cleaner mode of transportation for people like her and others, then I'm all for it
@thechosenberg
It's weird to me how many people seem to center their sense of financial and life progress around home ownership. There's more to life than buying a house lol
@lxeagle17
Ehh, the point is absolutely correct, but not sure that Romney is a great example. I always perceived Romney's button-up + jeans as just the standard corporate casual Friday look (especially in the 2010s), not as an attempt to look like or relate to the working class or anything
@justinboldaji
My sixth grade English teacher in 2001-2002 called for a parent-teacher conference because I, a kid who was obsessed with military history, was doodling airplanes on my work and it made her "concerned" 😅
