We have been pushing in this direction from the outset 👍🏻
But as part of a larger plan
India needs both- centralized production for mass scale- up
AND
More academic centers to step up for local production
Because
That’s the only way we will reach everyone who needs it
Especially Europe and India should consider approving academic center CAR-T manufacture and administration with appropriate accreditation.
This will not only be much less expensive ($2000 in India or $30,000 in EU), but also more effective.

One of our dream projects! Years ago, children would be cranky waiting in the OPD and not getting back to school years after chemo! Now they run back to class, during and after treatment!
ImPaCCT Foundation, conducts non formal education for the OPD and IPD patients through Mindsprings Enrichment Centre. Children have shown immense improvement at a mental, emotional level and report their desire to do well in life with ambitious plans of education in the future.
