Never thought I’d be happy to revisit the chemo ward, but here I am. Doc assured me pain relief in a few days thanks to chemo, targeted therapy and a bone-strengthening drug. Thank you for all of the thoughtful messages over the past week. Already feel stronger for the fight 👊🏼

An update on my recovery from esophageal cancer: I went searching for answers during chemo today because my treatment ends in 2 weeks and I am down to 142 pounds, the lowest point yet. The news is a little sobering but could be worse

Saw my oncologist yesterday. Latest scans show cancer is ‘under control’ and my condition has improved since May. Starting a week of radiation today to try to relieve persistent back pain. Chemo begins again next week. Hopefully a turnaround on the horizon
