tonight. This was the first Star Wars show to have an opening crawl. Ahsoka is 100% a sequel to Rebels. The 2 episode premiere felt like it was right out of The Clone Wars & Star Wars Rebels, but in live action.

is the force-sensitive version of Andor. The cast is stellar, the writing of each episode is jam packed. Practical sets and amazing costumes, as well as sfx work make every location feel lived in, while having an emotional throughline to keep it focused.

. More focused on the love story between Paul and Chani, the stakes are higher and there’s a fascinating commentary on faith. The costumes are STUNNING, especially Florence Pugh’s. The pacing slowed down a bit nearing the final act, but is still a riveting watch.

I hope Lucasfilm is taking notice of how much Star Wars Visions is striking a chord with everyone, but especially fans who haven’t been into SW recently. Fans who weren’t into TROS, or disliked Rebels and Bad Batch are very much loving Visions. We need more of this.

These four are incredible. Austin Butler is brilliant as Feyd Rautha. He’s menacingly terrifying and so much fun to watch. Timothée Chalamet is also AMAZING, his story arc is very well crafted.

I have mixed feelings on the legacy of

and Rebels continuing on without the cast that popularized them. However, seeing Lothal in live action, and hearing new renditions of Kevin Kiner’s iconic themes had me really giddy. Kiner’s Star Wars music is iconic.

I love the High Republic with all my heart, but as a teen, Aftermath was the first time my questioning gay self saw a gay main character and it was everything. I remember where i was when I saw Sinjir was queer. Aftermath was such a big part of my early fandom, it was great.

has great action. At times it feels very anime inspired. There are references to video games as well, and a ton of attention to detail with Jaime’s powers; drawing from Injustice 2 combos and Young Justice. I hope we see a lot of Jaime Reyes in the DCU going forward.

The choice to focus on the family is what makes

I recently had the chance to watch Star Wars Visions: Volume 2, and was completely amazed. In such a short amount of time, every episode made me feel so deeply about these characters. Volume two is an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible.

I'm so excited to see what they have in store for us. Finally my favorite franchise is gonna have fresh slate of films 😭
I've loved the recent DCEU movies but there's so much baggage that they really just need to start fresh.
However you feel about the Snyderverse, it’s been long past time to completely move on & start fresh for
#DC
films. The failure to do that & the constant back & forth reflected poor leadership & lack of creative vision at WB. Looking forward to a truly new era of DC films.
