Hey there, Birbble. Welcome to the behind the scenes zone. I'm working out content schedules & Canva stuff, but for now, I'm gonna start with sharing a poem every day with a little response line as an introduction. Follow on my writing page to be the first to like & Follow!
Like most drafts, we skip indroductions for now. 'Their cruelty migrated from school halls to auditoriums with an audience of millions. The chit chatter never ends... maybe that's why they named it Twitter...? This poem was my first. I hope you enjoy it.

Ok. It's time to be an adult for a moment. Do Not Speculate on Will' current health or His Mothers Insta Post. Doing so causes undo stress and triggers for fans and is WILDLY DISRESPECTFUL to Will and his family. Will is a living, breathing human person who deserves PRIVACY.

What's strange in her wording is that she focuses on the fact 'she's never said a name'. While that does mean she's never directly implicated someone of abuse, claiming she didn't heavily imply and indirectly confirm Will as her abuser because she didn't name him is facetious...

Especially Ironic considering Critics of Wilbur Soot called out the way he writes about women. The two bands I've seen accuse LOVEJOY of ripping off their music, Los Campesinos and Johnny Foreigner, I'd argue, have lyrics much more concerning regarding women. Give them a lisen.

The fact that her language is so demanding and controlling has always been my big red flag tbh. One of the big steps in recovery abuse therapy is cutting the person out and moving on. The goal is to reach the point where what they're doing and feeling isn't a thing that matters.

I'm leaning toward her, saying she never 'publicly' accused another ex of abuse as their is now a record of that anywhere on the internet. I will, however, say that though her statement in her livestream did apply, she's had other abusers in past. So there is some contradiction.

Helpful link with the definitions of what constitutes financial abuse. None of the things she described would be considered financial abuse under most definitions. They were just 2 partners with separate bank accounts and poor communication. .

Shelby accused Wilbur of physical abuse in the form of biting. Wilbur said the biting was consensual. Other accusations are less clear/grey examples of some would class as emotional abuse. Will showed signs of Depression/mental illness, apologized, and is getting help. That's it.

Allow me to indulge in pessimism & cynicism for a moment. But I think it will all work out. QSMP probably won't survive to 2025. Once it's gone, Tallulah will fade into internet obscurity like DSMP lore did. If Will does eventually have kids, the name Talullah will still be safe.

Essentially, do all of the things I wish Shelby would have done when she came out about the abuse story. Asking 12 to 16 year olds to grapple with consent, kink culture, and domestic abuse in complicated romantic relationships just really makes me feel icky. Love is complicated.

For anyone arguing that wrongful accusations and convictions don't ruin lives, I would like you to check out 2 famous US cases: The Case of the Central Park 5 and the West Memphis 3. Both were wrongfully convicted with questionable sources and were exonerated with DNA evidence.

The best thing Will can do image wise in my opinion is wait for silence and give his full perspective and tell all on his mental health with a certified psychologist on video, do a big charity push for mental health/domestic abuse, and move on. That would be my crisis plan atm.

The adult world is not designed to protect you in any way. People can and will try to hurt you and take advantage of you. The key is to build a support system and learn ways to protect yourself. I want it to change, but in the meantime, you need to learn to work in the system.

These kids do realize their hate post is why the venue played it... their hate post is the only reason people are talking about that venue atm. It's also advertising Lovejoy to more people. Discourse and controversy gain attention. It can actually be really useful for marketing.
