1) this is inherently good for artists that are playing live nation owned and operated clubs.
2) this probably makes their main competitor, AEG do something similar which is good for those artists.
3) this is inherently VERY bad for independent venues.
HUGE NEWS: Live Nation has announced it will no longer take cuts of merchandise sold by artists playing any of its club-sized venues. What's more, the company will offer $1,500 stipends per show to all headlining and support acts to cover food and travel.

We were informed a week ago that
@bearingsband
would be dropping Coheadliner run due to scheduling conflicts with another tour that they wanted to accept. Their decision puts us in a pretty difficult position. We decided to RALLY continue on with the tour as a JF headliner tour!!
